Our wonderful mother, Alice, was the daughter of Michael and Mary Hrobak. She was born on a farm in rural Ohio on January 23rd, 1924; the fifth of six children and the only girl. She grew up in the small town of Garrettsville. Her family was caring, honest and hard-working and their values would stay with Alice throughout her life.

Alice learned to work hard at an early age. She learned to cook in mass quantity, which served her well in later years, as she loved to entertain. Mom also naturally developed a green thumb during her stint as a farmer's daughter. This too followed her throughout her life as she loved to garden. You could always find her, shovel in-hand, digging around somewhere outside.

In 1948, Alice married her sweetheart, Stanley Bujalski after he came back from WWII. They had 3 children, a son, and two daughters in Ohio, all the while dreaming of making a home somewhere in Florida. So in 1956, they settled in Ft. Lauderdale, and made their dream come true. From humble beginnings, they became a success story. Whether at home or in the office, they were always together. They worked in the office together for 50 years. Alice worked as Dad's office manager and bookkeeper. They were inseparable; and, like Batman and Robin, a dynamic duo! We are so proud of them both and blessed to have the privilege of calling them Mom & Dad. This May after celebrating their 69th wedding anniversary our Dad passed away and Mom's health began to further decline. They are now back together again, as it should be. She's home in heaven with Papa.

Mom will always be with us in our hearts and memories of her. Her warmth of character and humility, her sense of humor, her adventurous nature, her sincerity and loving generosity were limitless. Her kindness knew no bounds. She was so welcoming and thoughtful of others...always putting others first over herself whether friends, family or mere acquaintances. She was a giver...giving of herself to all; people gravitated to her warmth.

Alice was a true inspiration! She should have been given wings here on earth, as she surely was an angel. She was our special angel, and is deeply missed. We have been blessed by her presence in our lives.

            Wonderful Mother
            By Patrick O'Reilly

            God made a wonderful mother
A mother who never grows old
He made her smile of the sunshine
And He moulded her heart of pure gold
In her eyes He placed bright shining stars
In her cheeks fair roses you see
            God made a wonderful mother
And He gave that dear mother to me
