Ann Santeramo was born on June 17, 1922 in Brooklyn, New York She died April 15, 2018 at the age of 95.
Ann was predeceased by her siblings, Benjamin Santeramo, Lucy Ann Reistetter, and Josephine Santeramo. She is survived by her Nephew Edward M Reistetter and his wife, Carol, and Niece, Annette Connolly. Anne is also survived by her grandnephew Michael Grushoff, and grandnieces Sally Reistetter, and Lisa Ann Mattiocco; She is lastly survived by her great grandnephews Daniel, Nathaniel, Joshua, and Jacob Willing and great grandnieces Cheyla Willing, Melissa Mansfield and Sally Mansfield.
Ann worked in the sweater industry and was a pioneer as one of the first woman cutters in the garment industry. She very creative and had great skill with both knitting and crocheting. Family members have many items such as blankets, shawls, hats and pocketbooks that she hand made.
Ann loved her family and her Italian heritage. She was very loving, generous and giving toward others. She will be missed by both family and friends.
Burial will be at St. John’s Cemetery, Middle Village, New York. Donations in Ann’s name can be made to Catholic Hospice, Miami, FL 33014.
