Gerald Leslie Petley, 81, of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, passed away Wednesday, December 20th, 2017. He was born January 4th, 1936 in Oneonta, New York to Leslie and Mildred (Horton) Petley.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother, Frank Petley.

Gerald is survived by his wife, Shirley (Koski) Petley, daughters; Lori (William) Collazo and Beth (Chad) Wilson, one son, David (Liz) Petley, sisters; Mary Lou Hunt and Dee Sappington.
He is further survived by nine grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.

Gerald was Master Plumber and also had served his country valiantly in the United States Air Force.

Visitation will be Saturday, December 23rd, 2017 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Baird-Case Jordan Fannin Funeral Home, 4343 N. Federal Highway, Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, 33308. Funeral service will follow on Saturday, December 23rd, 2017 at 11:00 am at the funeral home.

Memorials in Gerald's name can be made to Alzheimer's Research or to a charity of the donor's choice.
