Alexander Milne Dunn (Sandy) passed away peacefully on May 15, 2020. Born in Plainfield, New Jersey, Sandy graduated from Columbia High School in Maplewood, New Jersey and Seton Hall University in South Orange, New Jersey. On June 22, 1957 he married Marilynn Bailey Dunn and in 1964 they moved to Fort Lauderdale, Florida where they raised their three children, Susan Dunn Clarkson (Robert), Lauren Dunn Buschmann (Paul), and John Alexander Dunn (Robin). Sandy leaves six grandchildren, Courtney Clarkson McLarty (John), Caroline Clarkson Hopkins (Cooper), Alexis Dunn, Alex Buschmann (Amy), Christopher Dunn, and William Buschmann (Morgan). He also has four great grandchildren, Mac McLarty, Miller McLarty, Tinsley Hopkins, and Ford Hopkins. Sandy was predeceased in death by his parents, Jesse and William Dunn. Sandy was employed by the Abdo Companies for over 30 years. He was a member of Christ Church and served selflessly as the Head Usher for many years. Sandy never met a stranger that didn’t become a lifelong friend. He truly had a servant’s heart. He loved his wife, family and friends first, but the New York Yankees were a close second. A celebration of his life will be held at a future date.
