Bernice Dennis (MAMA) was born in Bog-Walk St. Catherine Jamaica, West Indies to Josephine and Zacharias Francis. In 1951 she met her husband Malcolm Dennis and they married that November.
Raised in the Church of God 7th Day, she was ordained as an Missionary and lived a life of such for she always spread the good news of Jesus Christ by showing God’s love, evident in how her home was always a place of warmth, refuge, love, prayer, and even providing church services for many in her community, especially those who had no one else to go to for a place to lay their heads or fill their empty stomach, or just needed an encouraging word. She and her husband welcomed all with loving and open arms.
Missionary Dennis migrated to Canada in 1976 before settling in the United States in 1978 moving to Brooklyn, New York, and finally in 1999 she and her husband settled in Fort Lauderdale, Florida where she and her husband spent their final days.
