MSgt. Catherine G Murray USMC (ret.)
of Fort Lauderdale, age 100, Retired Master Sergeant, US Marine Corps, Retired Holy Cross Hospital volunteer, member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Mercy Associates and the Women Marines Association passed away with dignity and peace at her home on December 20, 2017. She is reunited in heaven with her parents John J. and Katharine Frances Murray, her aunt, Ellen Kenney and beloved brothers Reverend Father John J. Murray and Robert E. Murray. Catherine is survived by her companion and caregiver of 22 years, Mark Adkins, and her many dear friends.
Visitation is on December 26th. from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. pm at Baird-Case Jordan- Fannin Funeral Home, 4343 N. Federal Highway, Fort Lauderdale;FL. Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday, December 27 th. at 11 am at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 4595 Bayview Drive, Fort Lauderdale. In lieu of flowers, donations in Catherine’s memory can be made to Holy Cross Hospital.
