Yardley, Catherine Anderson
Born November 19, 1934, in Coral Gables, to Myra Burr and Thomas Hargis Anderson.
Survived by her husband, Herbert and sons, Thomas (Paula), John (Victoria), and Warren.
Grandchildren, Joseph (Carissa), Mary, Richard, Robert, John, Anderson, and great grandson, Logan.
Graduate of Miss Harris School , for Florida young ladies in Miami, and the University of Florida, with a BS in Pharmacy.
Designed and manufactured Children’s soft goods at Marsupium, in Wilton Manors. Wrote the original grant request that funded the Museum of Discovery and Science.
One of the founders of Volunteer Broward. Established a Scholarship at St. Thomas University, in her father’s name.
Organized a rewards ceremony, for academic achievement, at St. Thomas. Established a garden on the campus of the University of Florida. Honored as a Woman of Faith

The Rock of the Yardley family, has been removed, we will perserve , in her honor.
The family will receive friends, on Friday, April 20th., from 6:00 p.m.- 8:00 p.m., at the Baird Case Jordan Fannin Funeral Home, 4343 N. Federal Highway, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33308
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, April 21st., at 10:30 a.m., at Assumption Catholic Church, 2001 S. Ocean Blvd., Lauderdale by the Sea, FL 33062. Interment will be in Our Lady Queen of Heaven Cemetery, N. Lauderdale, FL.
