Touhy, Danial James, age 48, of Kendall, Florida, passed away on December 31, 2018
Danny was an irrepressible, creative spirit, a son, brother, uncle, lover and friend. He was a talented musician and performer whose passion for music never waned. For many years he worked as a licensed clinical social worker, using his gifts of humor, compassion, and music to help children heal and those at the end of life find comfort. He is deeply loved and will be missed and remembered by all who knew him.
Danny is survived by his mother, Theris Touhy, father, Robert Touhy, brothers, Andrew Touhy (wife, Rose Haynes Touhy), and Peter Touhy (wife, Amber), nieces and nephews, Colin and Molly Touhy and Auden Haynes Touhy, and loving partner, Iris Herrera (children, Alberto and Veronica Herrera and Oscar Adames).
The family will receive friends at the Baird-Case Jordan-Fannin Funeral Home on 4343 N. Federal Highway, Fort Lauderdale, FL, 33308, on Wednesday, January 9, starting at 10:30 a.m., with a memorial service at 11:30 a.m. in the funeral home chapel.
