Dominique Napold passed away on October 19, 2020 at the age of 81 in Margate, Florida. He is survived by his wife, Beniante Napold and his children; Dominick J. Napold, Karine Napold, Mike Napold (Liza Marie), Sandy Labriola (James) and Tanya Napold. He was a grandfather to Dominic James & Joseph Labriola and Alexis, Delano & Leila Napold.
Dominique was born in Grand Brois, a suburb of Port-Au-Prince, Haiti on October 7, 1939 to his late mother Philomene Collot Napaul and late father Ramil Napaul. He is one of 7 children: his sisters Anaida Dorelien, Antonine Medor, Benadette Napaul, Yvette Napaul, Adeline Napaul, and his brother Martial Napaul.
Dominique and his wife traveled from Haiti to begin the establishment of a new life in Brooklyn, New York. He held several jobs to help raise his family, including a cab driver, restaurant worker, and a lab technician at Lenox Hill Hospital. At the urging of his mother, he migrated to South Florida and established residency in Margate, Florida.
In South Florida, Dominique became an entrepreneur, creating a house cleaning service and becoming a driving instructor in his later years. He worked tirelessly to provide for his family, was well respected in his community, and entrenched himself and his family within a loving church (First Baptist Church of Coconut Creek).
He was a sports enthusiast, which included watching soccer, basketball, baseball, and was a die hard New York Jets fan. He was loved by many and will never be forgotten.
Dominique accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior.
