She married Fr. Christopher T. Metropulos in 1977. Georgia was a generous and loving person who always went out of her way to care for others. She spent most of her life raising her six children after practicing as a nurse in Massachusetts. One of her favorite quotes by Winston Churchill was “We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give”. This quote and the actions in her life truly show her deep love of community and commitment to leaving this world a better place. Georgia was immensely proud of her family, and leaves behind nothing but beautiful memories.
