Jean J. Wofford

   Jean J. Wofford, was born in Kansas in 1934. She is survived by her loving daughters Debbie Cohen (Martin Cohen), Cyndi Stevens( Brady Stevens), four grandchildren , and two great-grand children. She is also survived by her brother Charles Anderson.
   Jean grew up in Englewood, Colorado, she later moved to Park Ridge, Illinois. She attended the University of Illinois and graduated with a Masters degree in Psychology. Jean always had a passion to work with people in a variety of Sales positions including: Frontier Airlines, Culligan Water and Newark Electronics. She especially loved attending to people's social needs through the prestigious social organization: "Who's Who International." Later in life she retired to Florida where she was later joined by her two daughters.

   Her favorite pastimes were playing Bridge, Chess, cards, painting, and enjoying her beautiful outdoor patio, where she spent endless hours gardening and caring for her beautiful plants. Her most cherished was a Lemon tree that her grandson planted for her before he moved to Virginia

   When she first came to South Florida she was in search of a new church home, but never found one that felt quite like family. However, after tirelessly searching, she was blessed to find the "Living Church of God." There she found everything that she had been looking for in a church, and loved everyone that had immediately embraced her as family. She spent countless hours studying the Bible and loving God.
Funeral Service, Thursday, April 25th at 11:00 a.m., at the Baird Case Jordan Fannin Funeral Home, 4343 North Federal Highway, Fort Lauderdale, Florida 33308. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment to follow at Lauderdale Memorial Park Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
