John was a plumber both in New York and upon his move to Fort Lauderdale in 1971.  John’s career in management with several plumbing companies included Encore Service Systems where he worked most of his career.  Nearing retirement John took a role with the parks and recreation division of Broward County where he made many friends.

John was an avid sports fan and loved watching his grandchildren play sports, attending their games whenever he was able. He and Rosalie loved to travel, play cards with friends, enjoy Saturday night dates and most of all spend time with their family. John also loved his two fur children, Paisley and Finley, who brought constant joy to his life.  A life-long Catholic, John served as an usher at St Henry’s Catholic Church for over 40 years. He was devoted to his wife and family. John was beloved by those who met him and had an infectious smile and laugh that brought happiness to all who knew him.
