Joseph V Allen

Joseph Vincent Allen passed away peacefully on March 19, 2020 at his Fort Lauderdale home. He was born July 13, 1931 to the late Delia Graham and William A. Allen. He grew up on the west side of Cleveland, Ohio and graduated from St Ignatius Jesuit High School in 1949 and attended John Carroll University.  His company, Kaywood Construction, specialized in the construction of public buildings in Ohio's Cuyahoga County.
Joseph is survived by his loving wife of 63 years Katherine (Kay Lockwood);  His children; Brian J, Allen, Chardon Ohio; George J. Allen (Sharon) Parker, Colorado; Barbara A. Allen (Marc Frank) Westminster, Colorado; Daniel J. Allen (Lynne) Dublin, Ohio; Margaret Mary (Peggy) Allen, Seven Hills, Ohio; Ethel K. McGlynn, Denver, Colorado and Mary Delia Allen, Fort Lauderdale, Florida.     
He is survived by grandchildren: Briana Marie Allen, Alek Allen, Eve Allen, Amanda Allen, Vincent Allen, Lee Allen, Maria Allen, Lauren Allen, Guthrie McGlynn and Maisie McGlynn.   Also survived by his siblings; Margaret Gerard, John (Jack) Allen and James Allen. Also the late William Allen.
Memorial masses will be held at a later date at St John the Baptist Fort Lauderdale, Florida and St Christopher in Rocky River, Ohio.
