Josephine DeSimone

Josephine “JoDe” DeSimone, 93, of Pompano Beach passed away peacefully November 11, 2022. Beloved wife of the late Harry DeSimone Sr. for 46 years. Loving mother of Harry (Sherry) DeSimone. Cherished grandmother of Christopher (Erica) DeSimone, and great-grandmother of Everett and Camilla. Preceded in death by both of her siblings, Tom and Cecilia, and her parents Salvatore and Epifania.

Born in 1928 in Detroit, Michigan, Josephine was a graduate of Highland Park High School. After retiring from working as a banker, she and her husband Harry relocated to Florida permanently in 1978. Josephine loved to travel around the world, and made friends everywhere she went. She loved meeting people, including neighbors and employees of her building, workers at her favorite shops, and fellow airline passengers. Josephine was also an active member of St Gabriel’s Catholic Church. A memorial will be held at a later date.
