Marie Drainville

Marie Isabel Drainville passed away on August 14, 2018 at her home in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, at the age of 72. Dearly beloved by her husband Richard of 48 years, and their two sons, Jeremy and Damon, and a very much loved sister and aunt of her large immediate and extended family.  Marie attended Nursing school at Christchurch Public Hospital and dedicated herself to her life-long passion in Nursing, excelling in her career as a nurse and manager.  Marie, with an avid sense of adventure left New Zealand to explore the world in 1969 and moved to Sydney, Australia, Vancouver Canada, and then to the United States. A gentle, warm soul with a wonderful sense of humor, Marie will be greatly missed.  She was always happiest in the company of family and friends and loved them with all her heart.   Marie is now at peace. The family will receive friends Saturday, August 18th., from 2:30 p.m.- 3:30 p.m. with a service at 3:30 p.m., at the Baird Case Jordan Fannin Funeral Home, 4343 N. Federal Highway, Fort Lauderdale, FL. 33308
