Mark L. Keerkel

It is with great sadness that the family of Mark L. Keerkel announce his passing on March 15, 2023. He was born in Bronx, New York on November 21, 1947, and lived until 75 years of age. He went peacefully with his family by his side.

He is survived by his loving wife Aura Yolanda Keerkel, his daughters Jennifer Melrose, Kristen Reineke, Catalina Donnelly, Angelica Dominguez, Jennifer and Kristen's Mother LInda Keerkel, his son-in-laws Brandon Reineke, Tomas Dominquez, and Stephen Donnelly, his grandsons Hunter Melrose, Holden Melrose, Alec Reineke, Isaac Dominguez, his grandaughter Lucia Isabel Donnelly and his sister Bari Fox. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and a great son to the late Harry and Ethel Keerkel.

Mark loved people, loved life and loved hard. Mark was a lively soul who always grabbed opportunities by the horns.  He would always fill a room with laughter through his larger than life personality.

He instilled in his family characteristics of loyalty to friends and family first, bravery and courage to support what they believe, and never turn back.  His loyalty to his family and friends was prevalent. He will be greatly missed.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, March 30, 2023 at 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Lauderdale Surf & Yacht Club, 2 Palm Avenue, Lauderdale-By-The-Sea, Florida 33308.
