It is with great sadness that the family announces the peaceful passing of Mary Kantzavelos at home, after losing her brave and courageous battle with cancer in her 63rd year, on March 4, 2024.

Mary leaves behind her beloved husband of 37 years, Sotiris (Sam).

Loving mother of Christos (Jessie), and Nicole.

Cherished yiayia to Rhodes, Raine, and Griffin.

Loving sister-in-law to George Catzavelos and Aspasia (Tom) Thayer.

Survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins in the United States, Canada, and Greece.

Mary was predeceased by her parents Nick and Angela Vitogiannis, in London ON, Canada.

Visitation will be held at:
Baird-Case Jordan-Fannin Funeral Home
4343 North Federal Highway, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33308 on Wednesday, March 6th from 6-8PM.

Funeral Services will be held at:
St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church
820 NE 14th Avenue, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33304 on Thursday, March 7th at 10AM.

The internment will follow at:
Kraeer Funeral Home
200 West Copans Road
Pompano Beach, FL 33064 on Thursday, March 7th at 12PM.

Mary was passionate about her religion and supporting the under-privileged local youth.
