Richard D. Fauteck, 76, of Boca Raton FL, passed away peacefully on November 4th 2021.
Richard was born in Long Island, NY on January 30th 1945. He moved to Michigan to attend college and start his career as an automotive engineer at Ford Motor Company in Dearborn. He retired from Ford in 1997 and fulfilled his dream of moving to Florida.
Richard was very active in the conservative political community throughout his adult years. He enjoyed staying active through biking and swimming. Richard was talented in photography and won several awards for his pieces through his workplace. Richard loved spending time with friends and family and served as a deacon at his church, Coral Ridge. He was also passionate about his involvement in Evangelism Explosion.
Richard is survived by his daughters Dora Berti and Bethany (Chad) Spohr, grandchildren Silas and Selah Spohr and close friends. Richard is preceded in death by parents George and Marie Fauteck, brother Ken Fauteck and daughter Gwendolyn Fauteck.
The viewing will be held at 2:00 pm followed by a celebration of life service at 3:00 pm on Sunday, November 14, 2021 at Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church 5555 North Federal Highway Fort Lauderdale, Florida 33308 followed by a time of fellowship and refreshments.
Burial will be in Livonia, Michigan.
