Robert Ribeiro

Robert Ribeiro passed on May 5, 2023 at the age of 91 surrounded by his family. He was born on April 25, 1932 in Brooklyn, NY to Armand & Faye Ribeiro. He was a dedicated and loving husband, father, and “Poppy” to his surviving family members.

Bob was a retired pharmacist who enjoyed reading and had a passion for collecting stamps. He spent his free time traveling the east coast with his grandsons to their school and travel baseball games.  

Bob is survived by his loving family and will be greatly missed by them all: his wife, Christine, Diane and Mark Hanke (daughter and son-in-law), Kenneth Ribeiro (son), Roger and Shelley Ribeiro (son and daughter-in-law), and his 5 grandchildren: Michael and Drew Hanke, Theresa, Danny and Matthew Ribeiro.

A viewing will be held at Baird-Case Jordan-Fannin Funeral Home in Ft. Lauderdale, FL from 5:00-7:00 PM on May 10, 2023. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on May 11, 2023 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Ft. Lauderdale followed by his internment at the Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens in Pompano Beach at 12:00 PM.
