Tribute

Tony K. Hill
Born September 25, 1971, left earth for heaven on September 18, 2021.

Just one week shy of his 50th birthday celebration. Tony Hill was a Husband, Father, Son, Grandson, Brother, Friend, and overall amazing human being. He is survived by his wife Angela his two children Tyler 13 and Hailee 9, his extended family in California including his grandmother Virginia Hill (& his little dog Skye). His beloved mother Patricia passed in 1996. He was born in California and lived in Alaska briefly as a child. Tony and Angela moved to South Florida in 2004 and were married in May of 2006.

He was an entrepreneur and owns several businesses including two software companies and was the former co-owner of the New Pelican newspaper.  Tony loved the community in Pompano Beach and served on the Planning and Zoning board under Commissioner Michael Sobel. He was passionate about life and family!  When he wasn’t working, he was on his boat diving, spearfishing, or just relaxing with friends and family.  He always had time for others and would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it!  He never wanted accolades or attention for the work or good deeds that he did.  He touched many people in life and will be sorely missed by all that knew him.

We are going to celebrate his life with a Service on October 16, 2021, at 2:00 pm at Christ Church, 4845 NE 25th Ave Fort Lauderdale. It is open to those who knew him and there will be a private reception following the service. Tony’s ashes will be laid to rest in the ocean where he loved to be in life and will live on there for eternity.

In lieu of Flowers please consider donating to the Mary Hill Museum in Washington State it is Tony's great grandfather's museum. https://www.maryhillmuseum.org/join-and-give/make-a-donation-to-maryhill-museum-of-art
