I had just learned of Bills passing. I have great memories of Mr. Thies. At 1 time my entire family worked at Wm Thies & Sons. The legacey he leaves behind is what most men dream of. Brother...Father...Sucessful...To you Mr. Thies a life well lived you have finished your race in style.

I worked at Wm. Thies & Sons for 23 years starting in 1980. Those who worked for Bill were proud to be a member of this fine family organization that received the highest respect from inside the industry and throughout the community. From the rollout of Lite beer to the heady days of Spring break and Miller Masters, my memories are of not a cold 'bottom line' company but a family that truly enjoyed the business. Bill and Dennis promoted true customer service principles which still guide me today. I hope that Bill's legacy is remembered at this sad time and in the future. Condolences to all of the Thies family and all of his friends. Godspeed boss.......

To The Bill Thies Family and Friends. Few people had more fun and got more done than the Thies, Kerr, Strickmaker Families. Beer (and people) were our game and we played it well. Best wishes one and all. It was a great doing it together. So what’s next?? Cannot wait.
