On January 13, 2018 the world lost a larger than life personality, Andy DiBattista. Originally from Brooklyn, New York, Andy was the youngest of five siblings born to immigrant parents. In his 30’s he packed up his family and moved to Ft. Lauderdale – literally packed them up given that he was in the moving and storage business.
He took the community by storm with his involvement in many organizations and businesses, but he will be best known for his blue eyes, grand smile and epic story telling. You knew he loved you if he was giving you a hard time.
Be good Dad, our lives are forever changed. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you go play a round of golf.
He is survived by his son, Salvatore DiBattista, daughters, Lisa DiBattista Iorii with husband Bob, Caroline DiBattista and Erika DiBattista, granddaughters Danielle, Stephanie and Michelle DiBattista; significant other, Linda Gelardi, extended family and friends that he considered family.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 17th from 4:00p.m.- 8:00p.m., at the Baird Case Jordan Fannin Funeral Home, 4343 N. Federal Highway, Fort Lauderdale 33308. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated, on Thursday, January 18th., at 10:30a.m., at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 4595 Bayview Drive, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33308
