I was honored to know Catherine. She was always with a kind spirit. She has a quick sense of humor. She lived as she spoke. She embraced every minute of her life. I will miss her๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ’•

Mark: My deepest sympathy to you and Catherine's family and friends. The void in your life is one only you will know, but she also left a void in all the lives she touched throughout her lifetime. May God watch over you and help you through your grief. God will surely enjoy having Catherine with Him and will take good care of her. Her suffering is over. May she rest in peace!

Thank you so much! Catherine sure left an indelible mark on my heart! I wasn't perfect but I gave her my best efforts. I will never stop working on Catherine's behalf and securing her legacy. Catherine's book musings of a fortunate life will be available soon I hope everyone will enjoy it as much as I enjoyed work working with Catherine on it and now with one of Catherine's friends who is helping me bring her book to a completion. God Bless my best loving friend Catherine Murray

Turn Down an Empty Glass

We have an old tradition
I believe it to be Corps wide

Itโ€™s one that salutes our brothers
Who have passed to the other side.

A single rose by a turned down glass
Resides at the tables end

A Tiny bit of nostalgia
And a tribute to absent friends.

Each in his turn will look that way
Each with his cup abrim

Each will remember a fellow Marine
Whether Tommy or Frank or Jim.
When my earthly life is over
And to the tables end I pass

Future Marines will remember
And turn down an empty glass.

Oh Mark. Grace and peace be upon you as it is with our dear Ms. Catherine. She has taught us how to love and live, even in her passing into eternal life. She will be loved forever as will you.
